Cybertron Presentation Release. Filmed in November 1993, back when there was no intention of returning Jason David Frank to Power Rangers as the Green Ranger, this pitch reel for the show that would end up becoming "Saban's VR Troopers" has never been seen by the public before my aquisition of it. As you can tell, at this point, it was a straight Metalder lift originally. Notable elements: Doug Sloan as Tyler Steele; Karl Ziktor is called Cyrus Rikter here, but played by the same guy; Tao is played by the same guy, though his character is much different; Percy's not the Mayor's nerdy nephew here as he was in the series, but Rikter's jockish son; that's the intended Yellow Dark Ranger from MMPR Season 2's "Green No More" 1 & 2 as Tao's daughter, Mia; And for the last damn time, YES, that's Jamie Kennedy. Oh, and this is probably copyright Disney and Toei and maybe even Saban.
