"The Shadow Duelist, Part 1", known as "Demon Deck of Darkness" in the Japanese version, is the fifth episode of the Yu-Gi-Oh GX anime. It first aired in Japan on November 3, 2004 and in the United States on October 17, 2005.
Jaden Yuki faces off against Titan, a Duelist hired by Dr. Crowler to scare Jaden away from Duel Academy, and one claiming to be able to initiate Shadow Games.
